One letter, one word, education to change
Rohingya children have little or no access to an education. One reason is due to the lack of educational facilities available to them resulting in a whole generation of children being raised uneducated and illiterate.
We at Lonely Orphans believe that every child should have access to an education. Learning in an environment where they feel safe and happy. Sadly, the Rohingya children have been denied this basic right in Myanmar. This has resulted in a high level of illiteracy in the community. Lonely Orphans are building and running schools for Rohingya and poor local children. Each school can accommodate up to 100-150 children, providing them a free education with free resources and uniform. This is giving the children and the community hope for their future.
