They don’t have to be alone
Since the crisis began, over 200,000 unaccompanied children have fled from Myanmar. A huge number of them orphans, who have little or no family remaining to look after them.
Over 800,000 stateless Rohingya have had to leave their homes in Myanmar due to the attacks on them by the military. Up to sixty percent of these refugees are children, many thousands of whom are orphans. Children who have lost their parents in Myanmar or along the way. The chaotic situation makes these children vulnerable to abuse and other risks.Lonely Orphans is helping re-home these children either in orphanages or with external family members. They need education, food, clothes and most importantly love to carry on surviving.
